NEWS FLASH : JULY 2003...... RAMPAGE MAKES BQPL FIRST...SCORED A PERFECT 600 POINT NIGHT AGAINST A FULL 3 PLAYER TEAM....What can I really say about this night other than we were on our game and everything flowed amazingly. Wild Cards brought the play to us and I give them props for how much they are on fire this season. I won't be surprised if they still finish in the 'A' division and if by some turn of events they don't, they will rip up the 'B' division. However it was our night and the 'Angels' were smiling on us!
NEWS FLASH : SEPT 2003........ RAMPAGE FINISHES BQPL REGULAR SEASON AS NUMBER ONE IN THE WESTERN DIVISION.....All season long we never dropped a game. We won every night we played in regular season. Our final event against Black Reign was a nail biter and the only close night of the season. I want to give props to these fellas. This team has been in the BQPL as long as us and have become a bunch of good friends to us as well.
NEWS FLASH : SEPT 2003......... RAMPAGE WINS BQPL FINALS MAKING THEM THE 2000 AND 2003 CHAMPIONS......ANOTHER BQPL FIRST. We are the first team to get on the 'Cup' twice. What a long day this was! I'm sure everyone can atest to that. Some might say tooo long but you have to think though...this was a finals format where every team competed in a best of 3 game, double elimination ladder that envolved 16 teams. I'm not sure of the number of games played but I can tell you that teams were dropping the 3rd game if it was impossible to win just to move things along quicker. I want to thank all the teams that competed this year. We made a bunch of new friends this year on top of the many we have hung with since BQPL's 2000 beginning.
Also I'd like to thank First Nation Technical Institute, Reilly's Awards, Goggle Skinz and Draxxus for their support this year. Also I'd like to thank the BQPL B.O.D. for the unending commitment to providing us players a well organized League to play during the season. And finally I would like to thank Pro Advantage for providing the league the extra prizes beyond what was purchased from them, that extra effort shows the dedication they have to the BQPL.
